Here is an interesting video about bike commuting in Portland, Oregon, that might be of interest to people lobbying for more local support of cycling.

Here is a query from a fellow tall rider, Mike:
Hey there. I have a question about sizes for tall riders that i hope
you can answer cause no one else seems to be sure. My name is Mike by
the way. Ok- im 6′6″ and i have been riding a 68cm road bike
converted to a fixed gear. Its geared at 54-16 and my cranks were
170mm for a long time but my pedals kept hitting the road while
cornering so i switched them to 165mm and got smaller pedals but im
still having that problem. I want to get a track bike hoping the
higher bb will help solve this problem. Do you know what size track
bike i need seeing that im 6′6” ? Do you know what brand makes
bigger track bikes? Do you think this will solve my problem? Thanks
in advance for any input. -Mike
Greetings, for the past few years this site didn’t have a blog or any other easy way for me to generate posts and I’ve started getting a lot of requests for tall bikes and frames. So with this new format I plan to post info I find relating to tall cyclists, pass on requests for gear and list stuff people either have for sale or otherwise might be of general interest.
Feel free to get back to me with your ideas. If you have something you want to post just email me at:
